How to find us

Dunan is about six minutes’ drive north of Broadford, on the A87 road.

If travelling from the south… Drive through Broadford, and continue along the A87 until you see the green signs for Dunan.  Shortly after this you will see holiday homes called, ‘The Tin Sheds’.  Our house is the next house after these on the right.  The bothies are accessed from a slip road 50 metres past our house.  It is sign posted.

NB: If you are coming to Skye from Fort William DO NOT let your Sat Nav. take the road to Mallaig, unless you intend to catch the ferry to the island.

If travelling from the north… Dunan is 36km south of Portree.  When you reach the green signs for Dunan, continue on the A87, reducing speed.  After about half a minute’s drive, you will see a blue bungalow on your right hand side.  The entrance to the bothies is off a slip road, immediately opposite the blue bungalow.  It is sign posted.  If you miss it, pull in at our house, which will be the next house on your left.  You can turn safely there.

PARKING:  There is adequate space at the site to park one car per bothy.  We regret that we do not have room to park camper vans.
